The Carcross Learning Centre is a potlatch and multicultural centre for the community of Carcross and the Carcross-Tagish First Nation. The building is designed using sustainable and local materials including the use of wood along with photovoltaics and a green roof. The design of the building references the coastal heritage of Carcross through the use of totem poles and heavy timber construction.

The building is sited on Nares Lake and enhances the traditional cultural connection between the site, water and the mountains beyond.
